Charmaine Ashworth

Charmaine Ashworth, age 80, currently residing in Anderson, passed away at her home on October 16, 2022. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 10, 1942, to Harvey and Dorothy (Wiltfong) Snyder.

Charmaine was a stubborn, spunky woman who was a fighter till the very end. She worked as a victims advocate for many years at the Phoenix Police Department, after she herself, was a victim of strong-arm robbery. Survival was who she was, and she made it her life’s mission to support and help others through trauma. She tried hard in life no matter what, and she made sure her daughters never went without. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children Terrie Riek (Bryan) and Robin Ashworth; grandchildren Kristoffer Ashworth (Chelsey), Jessica Crowley, Taylor Riek, Jordan Riek (Alyssa), Trae Riek, and Xavier Chaparro; great-grandchildren Jakob, Mikah, EJ, Meliah, Rose, and John; and niece Pamela Lewis.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above and brother Harvey Snyder.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
