Charles Allen Jent

Charles Allen Jent, age 59, passed away on November 19, 2022, at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born on September 20, 1963, to Lloyd Jent and Mary Jane (McFadden) Jent.

Charles was born and raised in Anderson. He worked for Anderson Community Schools for 17 years as a custodian. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping in his free time. He loved baseball and golf. He was a hard worker and genuinely a good person. He was a family man and loved his kids and grandkids dearly. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Charles is survived by his wife Cynthia Jent; daughters Jessica Kendall (Zachary) and Tiffany Summers (Dustin); grandchildren Kadyn Kendall, Jeremiah Phipps, Jadyn Kendall, and Bentley Phipps; siblings Ronald Jent (Patsy), James Jent, Teresa Jent, and Johnny Davidson; mother-in-law Judy Dwyer; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday November 28, 2022, from 3-5pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Anderson.
