Cathy Susan Flores

Cathy Susan Flores, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 20, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born on January 28, 1957, in Portland, Indiana, to Gwendolyn and William Michael. Cathy was a strong, independent woman who was deeply devoted to her family. She raised her family in Marion, Indiana, where she built a life centered around hard work dedication.

Cathy worked for General Motors for 28 years before retiring. Outside of work, she found joy in reading, puzzles, animals and spending time with her family and grandpuppies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Flores, and her stepson, Steven Flores.

Cathy is survived by her loving children: Roland (Dawn) Flores, Cristina (Matthew) Flores, Ricardo M. Flores, and Antonio (Stephanie) Flores. She was a proud grandmother to fourteen grandchildren: Morgan Flores, Austin (Carlie Jo) Flores, Christian Flores, Aiden Flores, Sergio (Katelin) Flores, Gabriel (Kendra) Flores, Mariah (Jayme) Price-Thompson, Kellen Stambaugh, Andrew Stambaugh, Raven Stambaugh, Katelyn (Samuel) Johns, Collin Goodrich, Kyra Flores, and Kalyssa Flores and blessed with ten great-grandchildren; Siblings: Terry Michael, Barbara Ball, Gerri Perry, Gary Michael; and her closest friend Pam Michael.

Cathy will be remembered for her strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
