Cary Crabtree

Cary Lee Crabtree, 62 passed away in Indianapolis on July 6, 2024. He was born on May 16, 1962, to Madonna and Carl Crabtree. Peace came naturally to Cary in the simple joys of watching NASCAR races, working with his hands on cars and his lawn, and spending time with his pets and strays alike. He will be fondly remembered for his big heart and relaxed nature.

Family meant everything to Cary. He took pride in his children Britney, Cory, Shelby, and Jacob. He cherished his role as a brother to his siblings, Joe Crabtree, Joni Root, Vince (Karen) Crabtree, Steve Crabtree, and Brenda Cline. Cary was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn; parents, listed above; and brother-in-law, Brian Cline; and many dear nieces and nephews to share in his treasured memory. 

Visitation to honor and remember Cary Lee Crabtree will be held on July 16th, 2024, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services—Lawrence at 11:AM with services immediately following at 12PM.
