Born on October 9, 1930 in Bainbridge, Indiana. Carolyn was the daughter of Samuel and Ida Alma Valentine. She graduated from Culver High School in 1949. She had a passion for ballroom dancing and developed many lasting friendships within the dance community. Whether on the dance floor or in everyday life, Carolyn's ability to connect with people made a lasting impression.
