Carole J. Bledsoe

Carole Joyce Bledsoe “Nana” – “Aunt Carole” passed away in her home on June 15, 2023, after a short, but hard-fought battle with Leukemia.  She was 79 years old.  Carole worked at the American Legion Headquarters in the 1980’s and retired from Linwood Kroger Deli.  Carole loved her family and loved spending time with them.  Her door was always open and she welcomed drop-in visits.   She never missed a birthday or holiday, always sending a card, calling or both.  She loved to crochet, and she made baby blankets for many of her nieces and nephews.  Carole also loved her fur babies.  She cared for many cats and dogs over the years, and she loved her soap operas.  Carole is preceded in death by her parents Viola (Sharp) and Edward Crow, grand parents Mary and William Sharp and Mamie and Edward Crow.  Carole is survived by her son Joe Curry, Brother William (Vanessa) Crow, Shannon (Jimmy) Anderson, her Snookums Little Jimmy, Jaime (Dennis) Long, Courtney (Duane) Darling, Jordan Richardson, Ashley Crow, Glen Asbury, Dylan Crow and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.  A memorial service\celebration of life will be held on Thursday June 22,2023 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services–Lawrence, 5215 Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN with visitation from 1:00 pm–4:00 pm and service at 4:00 pm.
