Carl Edward Ellet Jr.

Carl Edward Ellet Jr. (Duke) passed away peacefully July 6, 2023. He was born February 4^th, 1956 in Granite City, Illinois. He was the oldest of 3 sons born to Carl Ellet Sr. and the late JoAnn Ellet.

Duke married Kim Becker and together they had two children; Angie and Marc. They divorced.

Duke served in the United States Army as an 82^nd Airborne from 1974-1977. He then worked at Anaconda. He was an avid sports fan, loved his cubbies and baseball in general. Watching sports was his favorite pastime. He enjoyed being at the beach and wanted to move there. He loved spending time with his two children and all his grandkids.

Duke was proceeded in death by his companion, Cynthia Daniels. He is survived by his father Carl Ellet Sr.; children: Angie Ellet and Marc Ellet; brothers Michael Ellet (June) and Jody Ellet (Stephanie); 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
