Cammie Sue (Green) Hall

Cammie Sue Hall (Green), 73, better known as Susie, of McCordsville Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022, surrounded by her family. 

She was born November 10, 1948 in 

Coleman, Texas, daughter of Betty Jo Cross and Joe Wright Green.

Susie graduated from Rockville High School in 1966, where she was a cheerleader and Covered Bridge Queen. She was escorted by her future husband and love of her life, Mike Hall.

She spent the most wonderful years of her childhood living on Adam’s Farms in Rockville Indiana riding horses, motorcycles and barrel racing.

She went on to attend Purdue University Lafayette and Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. She attended beauty school after college in Terre Haute and worked at the Terre Haute Public Library.

She was the mother of two children, both born in Terre Haute.

 She later went on to work for Traub and Company, and was a lighting design consultant and outside sales representative in the electrical industry. 

Susie loved being with her family, dear friends and especially her grandkids. One of the things she held most dear to her was being present for the births of her grandchildren. 

She was known for her love of animals of all kinds, being referred to at times as “an animal whisperer”.

Her artistic talent was a gift, one that she passed on to both her children and grandchildren.

She was an avid sports fan. It wasn’t unusual for her to be either talking about sports or attending sporting events. She loved watching her grandsons play sports, and her favorite time of year was the Fall, under the Friday night lights! 

Susie is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Michael Hall of Mccordsville Indiana, children Neal Alexander (Wendy) of Lapel Indiana, Jennifer Tippmann (Ron) of Indianapolis Indiana, and stepsons Tony and Scott Hall of Brownsburg, Indiana.

Her beloved grandchildren, Cole, Will and Luke Alexander, Alex and Olivia Tippmann, Brandon and Aaron Hall, Megan Kemp, Jenna Ramsland and great-grandchildren Hunter Hall and Lucas James Kemp.

Beloved Brothers and sister-in-law, John McKinney (Patti) of Pittsboro, Indiana, Joe Green (Tammi) of Clive Iowa and Bill Green (Debby) Monticello, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Wright Green, mother Betty Joe Cross, Aunt Nancy Reeves, Uncle George Green and Sister, Nancy Kay Green.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
