Caitlin Lopez Becerra

Caitlin Lopez Becerra, 20, of Indianapolis, IN died unexpectedly on January 27, 2023 at her home. She was born on January 14, 2003 to Leonardo Becerra and Danicsa L. (Ornelas) Ramirez.

She was a 2021 graduate of Avon High School and was currently enrolled in Paul Mitchell Hair and Beauty School where she was excited to get a start in her chosen career field.

She is survived by her parents; daughter, Aurora Caitlin Russell; sister, Yaricsa Landeros; brother, Ethan Ramirez; grandparents, Francisco and Raquel Monarez and Elena Ferrer; aunts, Yadira (Keith) Dinius and Nohely (Matthew) Wyrick; uncles, Francisco Lopez and Marco (Nancy) Ornelas as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Aurelia Gomez and nephew, Benjamin Totten.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, 1604 W. Morris St. Services will be Friday, February 17 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with burial to follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.   Memorials in Caitlin’s memory can be made to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
