Logan was born in Anderson, Indiana to Pamela and Christopher Callender at St John’s Hospital. He died on November 11th at Community Hospital Anderson.
He loved spending time with his best friend and girlfriend of 10 years, Laurie. They loved their home, gardening and hanging out with their cats. Logan was an intellect that loved books, music, games and a good debate. He loved Star Trek and Witcher. His sarcasm and quick wit were unmatched.
In his younger years he could be walking around Anderson in his Chuck Taylor’s listening to They Might Be Giants and Ween on his headphones or hanging out at the coffee shop or A1 records.
To his brothers, Logan was everything. He and his brothers Clark and Nolan could be found playing games or in a heated debate about any subject that you could possibly think of. Often their friend, Braden, was in the mix, which said a lot because not many people could keep up with the Callender brothers. He also liked gaming and hanging out with his long time friend James.
In later years Logan helped care for his grandfather after a debilitating stroke. He cherished this time, saying it gave him a unique opportunity to really know his grandfather as a person.
Logan was famous for setting cheese on fire every year on his birthday. He was an excellent cook. Logan can be quoted as saying, “Life is too short to not throw things at your cousins.” All his cousins considered him more of a sibling and he made them all feel special and loved. He was full of charisma and his light shone bright . Most of all Logan was undeniably cool.
“And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me.”

You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them...In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.
