Brenda Kay Isaacs, 69, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital.
She lived most of her life in Anderson, Indiana and graduated from Madison Heights. She spent 27 years working at St. John’s hospital in Anderson as a Nursing Assistant. In that time she made life long friends that became family. Phyllis, Deb and Tracy were always by her side.
She is survived by loving husband, Donald Isaacs, her son, Chip Howard of Shirley Indiana and her daughter Amber Gaskill of Cocoa Beach, Florida. But her closest family member was her beloved sister, Cindy Barker who was also her best friend.
Brenda Kay or Kate to her family and friends was a loving mother, grandmother and great friend. Her favorite things were family dinners, The Covered Bridge Festival, and visiting Florida with family. But in all of this, it was her grandkids that made her the most happy. Alex Gaskill, Zeno Howard, Naomi Howard, and London Gaskill were all very loved by their Grandma Kate.
The family will have a private service in the Mansfield Indiana and her ashes will be placed at the base of the covered bridge.
