Brenda Marie Pryor

Brenda Marie (Frank) Pryor was born ringing in the New Year of 1961 with her twin brother on January 1st to Edward & Linda Frank. She lived in Anderson until moving away for college, where she received her Nursing Degree at Vincennes University. Brenda loved being a nurse and helping others in a variety of roles, which included mental health services.

Brenda was a wonderful cook and loved feeding others, especially at the frequent cookouts she would host at her home. Being outside made her soul the happiest and she perfected being happy with the simple things in life; which included fishing, gardening, hunting for seashells at the beach, watching the hummingbirds & floating in her pool. Snuggling, feeding and spoiling her three grandchildren was one of her most favorite past times. On a sunny weekend morning, you could find Brenda cruising around in her golf cart.

Brenda is survived by her loving and devoted mother Linda; her daughter Shannon Miller and her dear friend Amanda Broadway, along with Shannon’s daughter, Willow Holder; her son Jacob and his wife Holly and two sons, Ben & Lincoln Miller; her twin brother, Bryan and his wife Liz Frank; her sister Debbie and her husband Tim Chambers; her best buddy, MaryAnn Lazenby; sister-in-law, Cathy Frank and her daughter Amber; her niece Tiffany Miller, her nephew Brad McCord and his wife Julie; and honorary son, Ryan Poole. Brenda is also had many cousins, great nieces & nephews that she adored.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father Edward, brother Gary, nephew Derek & dog Sweet Pea. Her family finds comfort in that they are all fishing together.

In lieu of flowers, Brenda had requested that donations could be made to organizations such as the Christian Center, who feeds those who are hungry. She also had a special place in her heart for the individuals with mental illness, and also welcomed donations to organizations to support mental health.
