On Thursday, December 8, 2022, Bonnie Rae Amon of Indianapolis, loving partner, mother of two and grandmother of 8, passed away at age 60.
Bonnie was born on July 1, 1962, to Robert and Phyllis (Boone) Amon. Went on to graduate from high school. She would eventually move to Wisconsin with her two children, Michelle, and Daniel, where she met the love of her life, Dan SanMiguel. In the year 2000 they would return to the Hoosier state making their home in Indianapolis.
She was an avid reader, artist, and writer. She often took pleasure in writing short stories and poetry. Her happiest moments were any time she could enjoy and create art with her grandchildren.
She loved movies and was an avid cinephile and enjoyed the mystical world of people’s imaginations.
Music was a major part of her life. She played Viola and Guitar. She listened to a wide array of music enjoying the works of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Beatles, and many others.
She attended Ben Davis Christian Church and would study her bible in her free time.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Amon, and son-in-law Kyle Suter. She is survived by her partner for life – her soulmate, Dan SanMiguel; mother, Phyllis Amon; her children, Michelle (Brad Shoemaker) Suter, Daniel (Sarah) Marshall; her grandchildren, Parker Suter, Hunter Marshall, Kylie Suter, Christian Marshall, Skylar Marshall, James Marshall, Emily Marshall, and Ethan Marshall. She is also survived by her siblings: Ellen (John Maag) Amon, Mark (Saundra) Amon, Melanie (Gordon) Smith, Eric (Elizabet) Amon; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Services for Bonnie will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral services located at 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis, IN 46221 with visitation to start at 12:30pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm. Graveside service will be following immediately at Westridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. The family would like to encourage Bonnie’s family and friends who are able to come and pay their respects and say their final goodbye.
