Billie Joan Linzie

Billie Joan Linzie, 86, passed away on October 22, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on July 26, 1938, in Thornton, Arkansas, to Loraine Bolin, she lived a vibrant life filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Her career at Western Electric was a significant part of her life until the company relocated.

Billie was known for her adventurous spirit. She loved road trips that took her to new places. One of her favorite outings was shopping trips where she would indulge in feeding the ducks behind her favorite stores. A lover of the thrill of casinos, she enjoyed the excitement of the games, but more importantly, the joy of spending precious moments with her family and friends.

Billie leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy that will be remembered fondly by her children, Cindy Johnson (Garry) and Rob Linzie (Brenda); grandchildren, Robin, Brandi, and Chase; great grandchildren, TJ, Tricia, and Vivi; and her partner of 23 years, Ed Stewart. She has touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Her final resting place will be near her grandmother at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
