Billie Jean Parks
86, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 29, 2017. She was born on August 18, 1931 in Mershons, KY to the late Raymond and Golden (Peters) Zimmerman. Billie Jean married Kenneth Lee Parks on October 18, 1952, and spent 64+ wonderful years together making great memories for their family.
Billie Jean is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above, along with her great-grandson, Everett Lee Parks. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; along with her children, Kathy (Greg) Anslow of Indianapolis, Kenneth Ray (Deborah) Parks of Mansfield, Texas, and Kerry (Rebekah) Parks of Missouri; grandchildren, Kallie Cline, Kollin (Mallory) Anslow, Krystal (Michael) Kruszynski, Marissa (David) Feith, Jared (Savannah) Parks, Kara (David) Adams, Amanda (John) Curry II, and Rosalie (Jason) Loehr; 16 great-grandchildren; and niece, Diana Riley and nephew, Dale Poynter.
Funeral service will be 12:30pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 10am until the time of service. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
