Betty Lou Williams

Betty Lou Williams, age 76, of Anderson, passed away at her home on May 20, 2023. She was born on June 25, 1946, to the late Otis and Doris (Doms) Clegg.

Betty was a homemaker most of her life, always making sure her family was taken care of. She was kind-hearted, giving, and caring. She enjoyed shopping, ordering from QVC, and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Her children and grandchildren were her main priority and she enjoyed spending all her time with them. She decorated for every holiday and collected Angels. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Williams; children Paul Gammon (Ruthanne), Michelle Ell (Tony), Lisa Raines, and Betty Wallace (James); grandchildren Paul Gammon III (Tasha). Janel Benitez (Patrick), Michael Huston, and Amanda Raines (Brian Lubert); great-grandchildren Kipton, Lorelai, Hayden, Rylan, Logan, Mason, Rosabella; and special fur-babies Chandler and Chanel.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above and son-in-law Jim Raines.

Cremation was handled through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
