Betty Jo Lewis

Betty Jo Lewis, 73, of Indianapolis Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 9th, 2025. Born on June 22, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Laura and William Lovins and was preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Mae Sterrett and Shirley Ingalls, and her brother, Stan Lovins.

Betty was a devoted and loving mother to her three children — Tina Feldscher, Toby Lewis, and Tara Boswell and a proud grandmother to Sierra, Chad, Brian, Teresa, Nick, and Hannah. She also cherished her role as great-grandmother to Emma and Chloe, Jordan, Branson, Benley, and Bowen who brought her endless joy.

She will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength through life’s challenges, and her deep love for her family. Betty’s laughter, wisdom, and warmth touched all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Betty retired from the Decatur Township Small Claims Court.
