Betty Jo Allen

Betty Jo Allen, 79, of Indianapolis, was welcomed by God on September 18, 2020. She was born on November 11, 1940 in Pea Ridge, Kentucky to the late E J and Betty Inez Allen. Betty enjoyed living with her friends who were known as “ The Greenwood Ladies.” Her hobbies were art, getting her nails done, and extravagant jewelry, she also enjoyed spending time with her family, submarines sandwiches, deluxe cheeseburgers and strawberry malts.

Left to cherish her memory, is her daughter, Kathy Gail McAtee, grandchildren, Kendall (Alex) Krizman, Kortney (Kevin) Wagner, and Kyle McAtee. Betty Jo also leaves her sister, Nancy O’Neal and brothers, Stephen (Terry) Allen, Lowell (Katherine) Allen Sr. many nieces and nephews and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life on October 10, 2020 the place is to be determined.
