Betsy Eileen Lind

Betsy Eileen Lind (Jackie) was born on May 24, 1943.
She was the third youngest of four fantastic children born to my loving Grammy- Kathleen, and my jovial Grandpa- Virgil.
Always a lover of plants, she could make anything grow and was considered a master gardener.
A fine dancer, she loved Motown music, and when I was a child, Mom would regale me with ancient dance moves, often reverting to her famous (as seen on the Steve Allen show) move of doing the twist while doing a headstand.
Always a smile for whomever she met, she never knew a stranger. She was a genuinely kind soul, and an extremely valuable companion of those close to her.
She died on April 4, 2023.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 2:30 PM in Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 East Washington Street.
My Mother will be sorely missed by the many who knew her. Her absence on this earthly plane is truly the loss of a legacy.
She is survived by her brothers Richard (Mary), and Bradley (Liz), her two grandchildren Nikole and Elijah, many nieces and nephews, and of course her only child Rob, all of whom loved her very much.
We have all shed many tears and will continue to do so for some time.
