Bernadette Heneghan, 84, passed away May 8, 2025. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 21, 1940.
Bernadette retired from Lawrence Township School Cafeteria. She was a member of the Lawrence Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She loved nature and enjoyed feeding and watching her birds.
Loving and devoted wife of James Heneghan Jr., who preceded her in death. Bernadette was proud of her Polish heritage, the daughter of Ralph and Estelle Firlick, who also preceded her in death.
Her son James (Sharon) Heneghan III, and daughter Chris (Mike) Davis survives her along with grandsons Michael Davis, James (Casey) Heneghan IV, granddaughter Courtney (Justin) Ard, great granddaughter Camryn Heneghan, great grandsons Corbin Heneghan, Maddox Ard, and new great grandson arriving in August,
Friends and family may call Thursday May 22, 2025, from 9:00am to 11:00am at St Lawrence Catholic Church 6944 East 48th Street, Lawrence. Mass of Christian Burial immediately following. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
