Barbara Jean Spurgis

Barbara Jean Spurgis (McKay) passed away on Saturday, July 30, at the age of 80. She lived most of her life in Michigan until 2002 when she moved to Indiana to be near her family. Barbara was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others. She was known for her kindness and golden heart. She loved hummingbirds and enjoyed quilting as a hobby.

Barbara is survived by her three children and in laws, Steve Jr and Lisa Spurgis, Kelli and Ken Phillips, and Kimberly and Gary Hand, and her 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Karla, Austin, Kassie, Lindsay and Dustin and 2 great grandchildren, Josie and Millie.

She is preceded in death by her husband Steven Spurgis.
