Barbara Ann Armes

Barbara Ann Armes, 78, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on April 8, 2024.  She was born on November 23, 1945, in Indianapolis, to the late Homer and Geraldine (Barnette) Ridenour.  Barbara graduated from Washington High School in 1963.  She was a supervisor for Securtas Security, retiring in 2011.

Barbara loved to read and cook, she was always trying something new.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above;  Homer and Geraldine (Barnette) Ridenour.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 23 years, Douglas Armes; children, Randy Burleson, Paula Neal (Jay), Christina “Chris” Foster (Donnie); grandchildren, Mike Foster, Ciara Burleson, Christopher Keevers, Jessica Serpe, Dakota Neal, and Bryce Neal, Randy Burleson Jr, Seth Burleson and Tyler Burleson.

Sisters; Linda, Debbie, Patty, Sharon. Brothers; Terry, David, Jim, Tony

Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Visitation will be from 2pm to 4pm on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46226.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be the day of service at Legacy Crematory & Funeral Home 5215 N. Shadeland Ave.
