Austin Andrew Cook

Austin Andrew Cook, born on June 12, 2003, left this world on November 27, 2023, leaving a big impact in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Austin was a spirited entrepreneur who worked in landscaping. His vibrant personality made him the life of the party—fun-loving, spontaneous, and delightfully goofy. Austin's quick wit and intelligence, though at times accompanied by stubbornness, earned him the reputation of being the class clown and a natural leader.

Austin went to Frankton Jr/Sr High and was involved in wrestling and football. He effortlessly connected with people. He didn't know a stranger, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Austin's intelligence came naturally, making him stand out in any crowd. Despite his larger-than-life personality.

 Austin was a devoted son to Chrystal and loved his family.  He cherished his role as a father had a deep love for his daughter, Althea Rae Cook, and to his siblings—Desiree, Arminda, Michael, Mark and Amy—he was not just a brother, but the best brother, offering support, laughter, and an unbreakable bond.

He was preceded in death by his sister Abby, grandmother Linda Cook, and Father Mark Mezick. Austin is survived by his beloved daughter Althea Rae Cook, mother and stepfather Chrystal and Phil Savage, sisters Desiree and Arminda Cook and Amy Mezick, brothers Michael Cook, Mark Mezick and numerous other cherished loved ones.

A celebration of Austin's life will take place on December 4, 2023, at Legacy Funeral Home, 504 W. 9th St., Anderson, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11 am to 2 pm, followed by a service at 2 pm. Let us come together to remember, honor, and celebrate the unforgettable spirit of Austin Andrew Cook.
