Audrey "June" Minnick, 85, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on April 9th, 2026. She was born on January 24th, 1941 in Illinois to the late Earl and Lula Stroud.
June graduated from Anderson High School in 1959 and went on to work at Paul Harries, Dunham Sports, and Printed Wiring. Her most meaningful work however was done within her home, where she ran a daycare for many years. Through this work she helped raise and shape the lives of dozens of children. in 1967, June married Howard "Keith" Minnick, and together they had two children. Although they divorced after ten years, life brought them back to one another, and after 31 years of divorce, they remarried on August 4th, 2007. Their reunion was a beautiful reminder that some connections are meant to endure, no matter the years between.
June will be remembered fro her remarkable strength, unwavering love, and fierce dedication to her family. She was a two-time breast cancer survivor and faced numberous phyical challenges throughout her life, including multiple joint replacements and a serious leg injury. In her later years, she lived with dementia, which gradually took pieces of her memory but never diminished the love she held for those around her.
Throughout her life, June enjoyed cooking, traveling, and collecting jewelry, and she was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. Above all, she cherished time spend with her family and friends, moments that meant the most to her and those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
June is survived by the love of her life and loving husband Howard "Keith" Minnick; two children Darin (Robyn) Minnick and Nicole (Chad) Marchand; four grandchildren Dustun (Haylee) Minnick, Aaron (Landon) Minnick, Mckenzi (Phil) Kaplanis, and Marlloree (Brian) Marchand; one great grandchild Rowan Minnick; and well as many nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents Earl and Lula Stroud, sisters Helen "Louise" Johnson and Erma Draper; brothers Donald Stroud and Paul Stroud.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
