Ashley Humphrey

Ashley Humphrey, age 39, passed away unexpectedly after a tragic car accident on January 5, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on April 24, 1984, in Anderson, IN. With her passing, Ashley was able to be an organ donor, and in return helped and saved so many people. 

Ashley's vibrant personality and infectious smile touched the hearts of everyone around her. She possessed an outgoing nature that drew people towards her effortlessly. Her magnetic charisma made it easy for her to forge instant connections and create lasting bonds with those fortunate enough to cross her path. She was the glue that held together friendships and the energy that uplifted any mood. She was a a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

One of Ashley's most cherished relationships was with her beloved mother. Their bond was unmatched, a testament to the deep love and understanding they shared. Together, they created countless beautiful memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. She loved her dad dearly and cherished how close they were and how she could always count on him for anything. 

Her caring nature extended beyond her family as Ashley stood up against bullying and injustice wherever she encountered it. Quick to defend those who were being picked on, she never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word to anyone in need. Her compassionate soul made her a true force to be reckoned with—an advocate for kindness and inclusion. She had a knack for leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met—a person you would always remember.


Throughout her too-short life, Ashley demonstrated what unconditional love truly meant. She exemplified qualities of compassion, empathy, and selflessness that inspired who knew her. While deeply saddened by her sudden departure from this world, take solace in knowing that Ashley's spirit will live on forever in our hearts. She leaves behind cherished memories and an unfillable void in the lives of those who loved her dearly. Though her time with us was cut short, the impact she made will be felt for generations to come.

Ashley is survived by her wife Christina Humphrey; children Christian Guerrero, Oksama, and Justin; mother Cathy Judd; father Doug Humphrey; stepmother Nancy Humphrey; stepfather Jeff Judd (Regina); mother-in-law Amey Mancini (Eddie); siblings Aaron Humphrey (Jessie), Casey Judd (Becka), Kevin Edgell, Jaclyn Edgell, Spring Judd, Damon Judd; several nieces and nephews; cousins Zach Golday and Ryan Dorsey; grandma Becky Verbyck, grandma Alberta Biddle; aunt Patty Edmonson (Rick), uncle Dwayne Humphrey, aunt Evonne DePew, uncle Paul Biddle (Lisa), Aunt Ellen Rice, aunt Susan Mallernee; lifelong friends Melissa Anderson and Teresa Martin; and many other close friends and family. 

She is preceded in death by her uncle Rob Ress and best friend Richie Hiles. 

Ashley had a beautiful smile, loved to make people happy and smile. Ashley was a very giving person and wanted people to be proud of her. Ashley was the life of the party and was loved by all who knew her.
