Anthony "Tony" Sizemore

Anthony Sizemore 65, of Indianapolis passed away on August 4th, 2023. He was born on October 16th, 1957. Tony was a dump truck driver as a young man, and a self-taught musician at a young age, playing bass since the early ’80s and the sixth string up until then. He played with a number of bands in Indianapolis and surrounding areas over the years. Tony was also a painter by trade, lovingly taught by his momma, Wanda.

Tony loved to spend time with family and close friends and collect and trade cars and motorcycles of all kinds.  He loved playing music with many friends along the way. Tony loved to laugh and cut up but could also have the deepest conversations with you. He will be missed by many and remembered forever because of his loving heart and his great smile.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda (Feltener) Sizemore.

Tony is survived by his daughter, Brittany Sizemore; his father, Homer Sizemore (Shirley); sisters, Dora Dene Dixon, Betty Jo Brock, and Anita Schwarzbek; nephew, Joe “Moe” Mosley; niece, Beth Wills; along with 2 aunts, 4 uncles, many cousins, numerous great and great great nieces and nephews, extended family and tons of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the funeral home or to the family to help with final expenses.
