Anita Marie Hillman

Anita Marie Hillman, 82, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 30, 2026. Born on May 10, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the beloved daughter of Agnew and Estelle Reid.

A woman of deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, Anita was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister, aunt, and friend. She had a special way of making those around her feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for her family and friends touched many lives and created memories that will be treasured for generations. Anita was truly special to those blessed to know her, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Anita is survived by her beloved husband, Jerome Hillman Sr.; her son, Jerome Hillman Jr.; her daughter, Melanie Johnson (Darrell); four grandchildren, Zachary Hillman, Jalyn Hillman, Donnovan Johnson, and Davin Johnson; her sister, Rowena Bacon (Marvin); her brother, Phillip Reid; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends

Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that Anita's faith, the love she shared, and the lives she touched will forever remain with us. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that time will never diminish.

In keeping with Anita's wishes no funeral services will be held.
