Angela Elizabeth Sueann Martin entered Heaven on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on August 12, 1976, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the beloved and beautiful daughter of Garland Edward Martin and Cathy (Pitman) Jensen.
Angela was a unique and special child, and never was any child more cherished by her family than Angela. She found special delight in playing with ropes and frolicking in water. Her father, Eddie Martin, his wife, Norma, and her grandmother Mildred (Roberts) Martin were her principal caretakers during Angela's life, who cared for her at home for as many years as they were physically able to do. Her mother, Cathy, loved her intensely as well.
Angela is survived by her father, Eddie Martin, and her stepmother, Norma (Young) Martin; her mother, Cathy (Pitman) Jensen and her stepfather, Steve Jensen; her brother, Paul Martin, and his wife, Joyce (Bunch) Martin; her sister Pollyanna (Martin) Burnett and her husband, Donald Burnett, of Plainfield, Illinois; her sister Eliza Jane (Martin) Taylor and her husband, Kevin Taylor, of Greenwood, Indiana; her nephew, Dante McDonald; and many adoring uncles and aunts. Angela was predeceased by her grandparents Garland and Mildred (Roberts) Martin, and her grandparents Ermine and Freda (Thorn) Pitman.
Visitation and funeral will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 West Morris Street, Indianapolis. Angela's aunt Rosemary (Pitman) Freedman will officiate. Angela will rest in eternal peace at Floral Park Cemetery, very near her grandparents Garland and Mildred Martin.
