Angel Marie Holten, 37, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on October 29, 2026.
Born on September 15, 1989, Angel was raised in Anderson and attended Anderson Community Schools. She was a bubbly, outgoing woman whose bright personality made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Angel never knew a stranger and had a natural ability to make friends wherever she went. Her warm smile, friendly spirit, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
As a child, Angel had a wonderful imagination and was known for being goofy, adventurous, and full of life. Her sisters and cousins fondly remember spending countless hours together playing throughout the neighborhood, going swimming, shopping, and making memories during their carefree and sometimes wild adventures. These cherished moments became some of the stories they would laugh about and treasure for years to come.
Angel attended First Pentecostal Church of Anderson during her younger years and enjoyed singing in church. Her faith-filled childhood and love of music remained special parts of her life and the memories she shared with her family.
Angel is lovingly survived by her mother, Tammy (Bart) King; her sisters, Ashley (Dakota) Brooks, Brittany (Jalen) Balentine, Michelle (Drew) McCartney, Dana Whitaker, Jessica (Shane) Bland-Smith, Sianna Davidson, Ashley King, Amanda King, and Haillie (John) VanDuyn; her brother, Scotty King; her cousin, Crystal (Matt) Nicolai; her uncle, Jeff (Lynn) King; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Bland; her grandmothers, Betty Purdue, Phyllis Chaney, and Mary King; her grandfather, Gene King; and her uncle, Glenn Hanshew.
Though Angel's time on earth was far too short, her laughter, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her family finds comfort in the many memories they shared and in knowing that her legacy of love, friendship, and joy will never be forgotten.
