Andrew Scott Mcmahan

Andrew Scott McMahan, age 63, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2023. He was born on May 19, 1959, to the late Robert and Nancy McMahan.

Andrew retired from the City of Anderson after over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially loved taking his grandchildren to concerts. He loved music and spent time riding motorcycles whenever he could. He was “rough around the edges” but a true teddy bear. He was a nice guy to all who knew him and would do anything for anyone. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Andrew is survived by his daughter Rhiannon Linville (Steve Clark); grandchildren Shannon Ball, Preston Ball, Rylan Riggins, and Chesnee McClintock; several great-grandchildren; and nephew Adam McMahan.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above and brother Frank McMahan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2023, from 4-6pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Anderson.
