Andrew "Aj" Joseph Luke

Andrew “AJ” Joseph Luke, 27, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 28, 2022. He was born on November 16, 1995, in Indianapolis to Richie and Regina (McDonald) Luke.  AJ graduated from Warren Central High School in 2015. He was in the MCJROTC program throughout his high school years. He was also a cub scout with Pack 832, and a Boy Scout in Troop 161. He briefly worked at McDonald’s until he graduated. He then went to work at UPS where he was a pre-load package handler. While at UPS, he attended Ivy Tech Community College for 1 semester where he began learning the trade of machining.

AJ loved to make people smile and make them laugh. His smile was infectious. He loved listening to music, making beats, playing video games, and messing with computers. He loved animals, especially the family dogs, Shaggy & Angel.

He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandpa, Glen McDonald; cousin, Michael Ludlum; along with several great aunts and great uncles.

AJ is survived by his parents, Richie and Regina Luke; siblings, Nick Luke, Brandon (Kim) Luke, and Brittany (Randy) Luke; niece, Lovlyn Priest; nephew, Leland Priest; his oma, Sieglinde (Linda) McDonald; grandma and grandpa, Nancy and Richard Luke; aunts, Carrie Luke Stokes and Sheri (David) Hawkins; uncles, Rodney (Lori) Luke, Kevin Luke, and Sam Stokes; honorary aunt, Christina Hughes; cousins, Shaun Ludlum, Cherie Roland, Meghan Luke, Nate Luke, Kavan Luke, Michael Luke, Dustin Luke, Cory Hawkins, Allison Moore, Ben Hawkins, Adam Luke, Jacob Luke, and Seth Luke; along with several great aunts and uncles, and a host of second cousins.

Visitation is Thursday, January 5th from 11am to 12:30pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 12:30pm at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
