Amber Dawn Kennington, 38. Born April 15, 1982 in Indianapolis, IN. Died November 9, 2020.

She was a mother, a sister, a daughter, a fiancé, and an aunt. Amber was a homemaker. She loved everyone unconditionally with arms wide open. She knew how to have a good time. Amber knew how to put a smile on your face.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Kelly A. Sasser (Morgan); her nephew, Joshua J. Davis Jr.; her 2 aunts, Leslie R. Bauman (Morgan and Angelic A. Shepard (Morgan); along with all 4 of her grandparents.

Amber is survived by her father, William C. Kennington II; her fiancé, Jeffrey D. Abercrombie, Jr.; her 4 children, Dakota A. Patton, Vanessa J. Abercrombie, Jeffrey D. Abercrombie III and William C. Abercrombie; 1 step-daughter, Victoria L. Holtsclaw; 2 sisters, Brandy N. Davis and Christy A. Kennington; 1 step-sister, Christy M. Graves; 2 step-brothers, Joshua J. Davis and Mark A. Earles Jr.; along with 13 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 12:30pm. Burial to follow at Anderson Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses and a headstone.
