Alloett "Al" Lee Robbins

Alloett “Al” Lee Robbins, 70, passed away on September 1, 2023, after a 4 month battle with cancer. He was the son of Ralph Jr. and Louise Robbins.

Al retired after 30 years of service at Spring Air Mattress Co. and then retired from the Anderson City CATS Bus in January of 2020.  Al loved to watch birds, play pool with his grandsons, spend time with his family, and cuddle with his dog Lexi. Al was truly an inspiration and mentor to everyone around him. He was a wonderful father, brother, grandparent, father-in-law, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Al is survived by his daughters Angie Wolfgang (Bob Moore), Anissa Burris (Troy); granddaughter Terra Wolfgang; grandsons Bryce Wolfgang (Cheyenne), Tyler Burris (Kyndal), Colten Burris; great-granddaughters Adalyn and Lainey Melton; great-grandson Ezra Melton and one on the way’ sister and brother-in-law Rita and Francis Robinson, brothers-in-law Terry Sarvis and Hinky; and sister-in-law Karla Sarvis; special friend of 57 years, Merle Jones; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna Robbins, sister and brother-in-law Donna and Virgil Roberts, sisters-in-law Velvia Randolph and Carlotta Sarvis, brother-in-law Wayne Sarvis, nephew Junior Harty, mother and father-in-law Wayne Sr. and Phyllis Sarvis, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Siddiqui and the nursing staff at Community Cancer Center, and Dr. Ullah and nursing staff at Community Hospital Anderson for all their exceptional care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Monday September 11, 2023, from 4-6pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Anderson, with a funeral service following the next day, Tuesday September 12, 2023 at 11am. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery.
