In her free time, Allie loved nature. Kayaking, tubing, and horsing around in the White River were how many summer days were spent. She also was an avid reader, painter, cook, and true crime documentary aficionado.
Throughout her life she had many types of pets: dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, geckos. As a child she helped her family foster many dogs and cats.
