Alice Sueatta Stanley

Alice Sueatta Stanley, age 72, of Anderson, passed away at her home on May 19, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 25, 1950, to the late Luther Potter and Bonnie (Turner) Hedrick.

Alice was a homemaker for most of her life. She was caring, laid back, down to earth, and had a heart of gold. She could put aside her feelings for someone else’s needs at any moment. She was fun to be around and loved to spend time with her grandchildren the most. Growing up she was the best mother, coaching her daughter’s softball teams to multiple wins. She was able to be a friend and parent both to her children. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alice is survived by her children Tracey Claus and Sherri Felts (Mike); grandkids Sydney Hatter (John Deitzer) and Aaron Minnick; siblings Kathy Moore (Daryl) and April Shaffer (Dirk); special nieces Lisa Shoemaker (Charles) and Erica Schmidt; special friends Mike and Mindy Pierce; and several other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband Donald “Pete” Stanley, and siblings David Potter and Vickie Campbell.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
