Alice Ann (Losh) Skirvin

Alice Ann Skirvin, 78, of Indianapolis passed away on September 10, 2026. She was born October 23, 1947, to the late Glenn and Ruth (Gammron) Losh, and she married Robert Glenn Skirvin on January 10, 1966. In addition to being a wife and mother, Alice was employed as a nurse at the Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis for most of her working life and eventually retired from the VA Hospital.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glenn Skirvin in 2019; by her daughter, Eileen Ladely; her grandson, Gregory Clinton Hughes; and her parents, Glenn and Ruth (Gammron) Losh.

Those left to cherish Alice's memory are her daughter, Sandra (Gregory) Hughes; her grandchildren: Michael Thorman, Rebecca Fite, Thomas Wright, Joey Skirvin, Charlotte Roberts, Gregory Hughes, Jr., and Jonathan Hughes; her 13 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Services for Alice Skirvin are scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services - Indianapolis located at 1604 W. Morris Street. Times are pending. Alice will be laid to rest next to her husband at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
