Albert A. Campbell Sr. was born on May 28, 1935, in St. Ann, Jamaica, to Catherine Lawrence (Campbell) and Thomas Lawrence. Albert was the second oldest of eight children . He worked in farming with his father until he migrated to the United States in the late 1960s.
After moving to the United States, Albert built a life through hard work and determination. He ran his own construction business, specializing in wrecking buildings, and also owned a mechanic shop where he repaired cars and sold auto parts. Albert was known for his strong work ethic, his ability to fix just about anything, and he was also a great cook who loved feeding family and friends.
Albert was called home on March 17, 2026. He is survived by his children: Steve, Winsom, Paulette, Grace Ann, Rosemarie, Albert Jr., Thomas, Alinda, and Johnathan. He is also survived by his sister, Sister Lou, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry on his legacy and memory.
Albert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in Heaven, PAPA
