Adam James Davidson, 49, of Elwood passed away on August 31st, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, creativity, and love that will forever be remembered by all who knew him. He was born on June 23, 1977, in Anderson, Indiana.
Adam attended Frankton High School and spent his adult life in Elwood, Indiana. He worked for J. Lewis Smalls, where he finished jewelry, including class rings that became keepsakes for many.
Adam was a talented artist with a gift for creativity. He spent much of his free time drawing and tattooing, sharing his artistic abilities with friends and family. Music was another great passion in his life. He was a music enthusiast who loved attending concerts and experiencing the excitement of live performances. During football season, Adam could often be found spending his weekends cheering on his favorite teams and enjoying the game.
While Adam's talents and interests were many, it was his heart that truly defined him. He was the kind of person who would give away his last penny and go without himself rather than see someone else in need. He would always lend a helping hand, offer support, or provide comfort to those who needed it most. He had a compassionate and selfless nature. Adam also had an incredible sense of humor. He loved to clown around, make people laugh.
Adam leaves behind his two daughters, Star Davidson and Alonnah Davidson, whom he loved deeply. They were the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving mother, Sharon Brannen; stepfather, Wayne Brannen; brothers, Martin (Kathleen) Davidson and Cory (Samantha) Davidson; stepmother, Debbie Davidson; stepbrothers, Brett Russell, Chad Russell, Wayne Brannen Jr., and Joshua Brannen; stepsister, April Brown; nieces, Kiara Davidson, Malyha Davidson, Abbigale Bousman, Natalie Davidson, and Roxanne Rodriguez; and great-niece, Essence Davidson. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bo" Davidson Jr.; grandfather, William Martin Davidson Sr.; grandfather, Robert Ivy; uncle, Rick Davidson; his beloved wife, Kayla Wilkerson; and nephew, Oliver Davidson.
Adam will be remembered for the size of his heart and the unconditional kindness he showed. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created, the love he shared, and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at Birch Bayh Community Center 715 N. 19th St. Elwood, IN 46036 at 4pm. Pastor Rodger Gardner will be officiating.
